“A special shout out to Gary Roberts who was my first guest speaker in a series that will provide my students with a diversity of professionals and teaching styles. He facilitated the class on the importance of creating new and updating legacy documents to be more accessible. In addition to learning how to create a professional word document with a table of contents that updates automatically as you build your report, the students learned how to be more mindful of the needs of people who may be living with visual impairment and using assistive technologies such as screen readers.”

“Thank you, Gary, for a valuable education session. I brought the information back to my grant project team and I’ll be working to make our documents AODA accessible to be posted onto the […] website as part of the grant deliverables. I hope to gain access to Adobe Acrobat Pro in time for the November PDF accessibility workshop you’re offering.”
— Sylvia S.
“I did Gary’s workshops when I worked in my former department and they were extremely helpful for making accessible documents, posters, and presentations which can be read by people with low vision or who use screen readers.”
— Heidi M.
“Thanks for a very informative workshop. I learned more than I expected I would i.e. beyond the accessible issues. You are a very patient teacher. Look forward to the PDF workshop – too bad you aren’t teaching that one. Would definitely help with consistency.”

“Thank you very much Gary for the training. It’s very informative and helpful. Really appreciated. I evaluated the course on My eLearning top star. I am very interested in learning more if there is Level 2 or a series of AODA in future.”

“Thanks Gary. I definitely learned a lot so I’m very appreciative, many things I wish I knew about 25 essays ago!”
