Just now found your site. I want to start a lost/found pets site in my city, and was looking to see what others are doing. Would you be willing to help with some advice?

So sorry to see this site gone….you were instrumental in reuniting me with LB (little boy) and Mr. Fluffles who snuck out on moving day over a year ago…..thanks again and my boys give you a fond mew….found Fluffles within 2 weeks, took 7 months till LB showed up….somebody had been caring for him.

Hello Gary
I was so sad to see this site go. I was told about it years ago. As a volunteer neighbourhood pet rescuer I was called about a small dog hiding under a deck. Turns out the long haired black chihuahua was a working dog (hepled his owner who was hearing impaired) who was stolen from his owner’s backyard. I brought the little guy home and searched your site at 11 pm and made the match. His name was Spanky and I called the owners asap. Ten minutes later they were on my doorstep in tears. They sent flowers the next day and were so grateful to be reunited with their dog!
Thanks for all your good work. You will be missed.

Gary,

Thanks for all that you have done. I am a private pet detective. I have used CanadStrays.com and in one case it helped locate a cat that was missing for 5 months!
I want to pick up the pieces and I am now working with a website designer to put up a similar website but it will also include the United States as well as Canada.

Again…thanks for the work that you have done for the animals in need and their people. Rest and be proud of what you have accomplished!
